There are many FUN ways to learn toddlers the ABC’s! As a young parent, I love spending a quality time with my kids. Aside from playing together with my son, I make sure to read books with him in a daily basis, even if it only takes 5 minutes. Because to me, REPETITION matters and I make it to a point he learns in a fun and healthy environment. I never force my child to learn new skills including the Alphabet. One day when he was about 16-month old, he came running to me while shouting the letter “E” at the top of his lungs. At first, I thought it was just a coincidence. But he followed it up with more letters such as “X”,”Z”, and so on. He likes identifying all the letters he finds in our house. The first few months of learning him the alphabet since he was 12 to 14 months were never in vain. Although in the beginning he showed no huge interest in learning the alphabet, little did I know that he was already absorbing what I was teaching him. This video is made to encourage parents to spend time with their toddlers may it be with reading, playing, and other productive activities.
